Q. Can we meet you?

Yhemhi -- My name is Yemi Ajayi, an artist and my stage name is yhemhi

Q. What got you into music?

Yhemhi -- It all started in secondary school, Federal Science and Technical College, Ijebu Imushin Ogun State (FSTC). I used to be a really shy person..I don't talk at all until, one day I sang in class and everyone liked it... I found my voice ever since then.

Q. If you are not a musician, what would you be doing right now?

Yhemhi -- An OAP (On Air Personality) maybe.

Q. Why an OAP?

Yhemhi -- Because it still has to do with my voice and a little bit with music.

Q. What do you feel is the best song you’ve ever released and why?

Yhemhi -- This is a hard and tricky one because each song has its market and journey but let's just say "sweet sensation" gave me the necessary start up i needed.

Q. What inspired your recent EP - VII?

Yhemhi -- "VII the EP" is an awakening for me. I made it after i battled self-depression. I pushed out all the hurt I've had bottled inside of me as songs. I made the EP in seven days.

Q. The story embedded in one of the song on your EP titled "Heartbreak" (Track 6), is it real or just a fiction? Tell us more...

Yhemhi -- Lol, its real!!! It's actually a really personal song and every word in it is real.. I made it as real as possible.

Q. In a song of yours tittled Gypsy, you said "something must kill a man and i know that's it's simple" - can you give more light on what exactly you are trying to say, or the message you are trying to pass across?

Yhemhi -- Okay, something definitely kills a man... "i know that is simple" is just me accepting the fact that something kills a man.

Q. How would you describe your kind of music?

Yhemhi -- Chill.

Q. How would you describe your fashion style?

Yhemhi -- Edgy.

Q. If you could date any other musician (Or celebrity), who would it be and why?

Yhemhi -- Uhmm, Yahara Sahidi, she's an American actress and she's smart and gorgeous.

Q. Which musical artiste(s) would you like to collaborate with next?

Yhemhi -- T classic

Q. Why T classic?

Yhemhi -- I love his sound.

Q. Like how most artiste would list a number of some great or legendary artiste that inspired/influenced them and their kind of music, who and what are you inspired by or which artiste(s) can you say inspired or influenced your kind of music ?

Yhemhi -- Wizkid, i love his brand.

Q. How do people react to your stage performances?

Yhemhi -- Always shaking their head, lol.

Q. If you had one message to give to your fans, what would it be?

Yhemhi -- Thank you for the journey thus far but we still have a long way to go...so, belt up!
