My name is Richard Chibueze Chiedoziem, I'm a singer, song writer, actor and content creator based in Port Harcourt. I'm a student of Alex Ekukwme Federal University in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. Musically and socially know as Richie Jay. I've written over 40 songs, recorded just a few. I released my first single 6/06/2022 titled WORTH and that same year, I released my first studio EP titled MY DIARY consisting of 4 songs titled
1. Slide With Me.
2. Bee'co.
3. ME ft Jhayson.
4. Freedom.
My musical influence are Sam Smith, Sarah Ikumu, Jennifer Hudson, Tems and Adekunle Gold. My kind of music is not just in the vibe but in the lyrics, the message that my music carries, the people it impacts and actually help in some way or the other. I always write songs that gives people hope.
Basically, my music tells alot about me and my surrounding or experience, and I know turning my experience to songs, can actually impact others for the better and especially, those going through similar situation at that time of their life.
I'm an RnB/Afro Singer. I've been singing for a very long time, approximately 9 years now. I sing in church, weddings and I've also tried a lot of well know competitions like Nigerian Idol, Rivers Got Talent, The Voice etc. which are still part of my musical experience and all.
